Welcome back to NAS Chase Field. Dedicated to every sailor who experienced a tour of duty at one of the Navy’s most unique Naval Air Stations, it’s the mission of this website to provide a familiar port for Chase Field Sailors to revisit a memorable time in their life.

This website not only serves as a chronicle of this unrivaled Air Station's history, more importantly, it provides a window into the lives of the men and women who served at Chase Field. Here you will be able to see pictures from all eras, including pictures taken from the recent 1st and 2nd "All Hands" NAS Chase Field reunion, held on the base.

What's an Aircraft Carrier got to do with a reunion for NAS Chase Field sailors you ask? Well, here's the idea. At the next reunion everyone will muster in Corpus Christi, instead of Beeville. On Thursday, April 11, (I'll explain later why on Thursday,) As usual, we'll start with a "Welcome Back" party from 1-10 at a hosting hotel in Corpus. The next morning, Friday, April 12, Charter busses will pick everyone up at the hosting hotel and drive us to Chase Field where we'll tour the base and watch T-45 Navy jet trainers from NAS Kingsville put on a brief flight demonstration. Then we'll do a little drive through tour of Beeville on our way to lunch in Beeville. The busses will then take everyone back to Corpus where, beginning at 4:30 everyone will get to tour the USS Lexington. At 6:00, in Hanger Bay 2, (it's air-conditioned,) there will be a cocktail reception with a (no host) bar and live music. At 7:00 Tra Wing 3 Commander ('76-78) Commodore Tom Wimberly, will share some thoughts about Chase Field and it's Sailors, followed up with memorable sit-down dinner for all hands. On Saturday and Sunday everyone will be free to visit and explore wherever they want.  For all the reunion details click on the picture above.
